BIO// I’m an Italian-American of Arbëreshë descent raised in Jackson, AMADOR COUNTY, California. I graduated from Argonaut High School in 2006, where I was Student Body President, among other things. Somehow, I speak Spanish like a Chilango from Mexico. I like to make people laugh, and keep situations positive and interesting. Currently in my third year at Sac State and with KSSU, I plan on going into television broadcasting after college, to say the very least…
MAJOR// Journalism, Minor: Spanish
FAVORITE KSSU RADIO SHOW THAT’S NOT YOURS// G33K T@Lk N3RD R0Ck with Trina la Trine!
THINGS YOU DO WHEN YOU’RE NOT BEING AN AWESOME DJ// Play the piano, wash my hair, browse surropa.com, and listen to the latest Reggaeton while traveling in my car.
GUILTY PLEASURES// Drum & Bass, Christina Aguilera, The Sims, and my ma’s Macaroni Salad.
WHICH CARTOON CHARACTER DO YOU MOST IDENTIFY WITH AND WHY// Mowgli from the Jungle Book – “Lost by his parents in the Indian jungle during a tiger attack, a human baby is adopted by the wolves” – my life story.
IF YOU COULD BE ANY CORE STAFF MEMBER WHO WOULD YOU BE// I would be Crazy Lady Susie, because she has nice hair, she makes being a music director look easy, and she does her job with finesse. Plus, her last name, “Kuo,” is very trendy…it’s like saying “whoa!” but with a ‘K’ in the front.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PIZZA TOPPING// Sausage. (don’t be gross, cerdo!)
IN A ZOMBIE ATTACK, WHAT WOULD BE YOUR WEAPON OF CHOICE// The metal band VICTIM EFFECT, their song “Zombies 101,” a Mercedes GL-550, and three backpacks full of machetes.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT KSSU// The diversity that lives in every single DJ and their show. I feel that in one whole week, you could easily get a taste of nearly every genre of music known to humans by listening to KSSU.com.
