Bio: I am a senior majoring in Media Communications. I have been the KSSU sports directory for the past 9 months. Last we broadcasted over 50 live events this year on KSSU and “off the schneid” just hit its 75 th show!!! I have so much fun broadcasting sports on the Radio the past year. KSSU also offers a chance to broadcast games away from Sac State. Last baseball season KSSU called games live from Stanford, San Jose State, Santa Clara, Cal- Berkeley, Pacific and I broadcasted the WAC tournament in Reno. This year is going to be the best year in KSSU sports broadcasting history. We have a great crew on board and a ton of interested broadcasters waiting in the wing. A little bit about me - I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Yes, that makes me on of the few die-hard Portland Trail Blazers fans. Hey, it's not my fault they drafted Sam Bowie over a guy named Michael Jordan. I started to print my playoff tickets when we drafted Greg Oden but now that Oden is gone for the year it looks like those playoff dreams are on hold for another year. I am also a die hard San Francisco Giants and 49ers fan (my grandpa played for the original Niners' team in 1946) Alex Smith, Vernon Davis, Matt Cain and Tim lincecum are the future in the bay. I love what Mike Nolan is doing and I think Frank Gore is a God. I am sad to See Barry Play his last game as a Giant. I like the young pitching staff and I am interested to see how they turn things around. I also get high on March Madness every year. (Nice to see the Ducks make the Elite-8 last year) It is my favorite time of the year. When the mighty Hornets win the Big Sky and make their first Tourney appearance you can best believe I'll be in attendance...I also love college football.( G Ducks ) What a year already with 1-AA Appalachian State wins at Michigan and Stanford beats USC!!). If I don’t have a big time guest talking about this weeks biggest games or stories you can find me chatting about golf, some tennis, poker, and non sports related topics such as movies, TV, history, weird wacky news and politics. Some things you will not hear me talk about on the show are NASCAR, Soccer (except the Hope Solo story), Ultimate Fighting or the WNBA. I really enjoy attending sporting events. I have witnessed my beloved Ducks in 6 Pac 10 venues, love watching hoops live and to date I have been to 14 major league ballparks and would like to someday say I have been to all of them. Well, except any stadium in Texas.
